Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds: Wild God - az új album címadó dala

Az ausztrál zongorista-énekes Nick Cave-től az elmúlt egy évben a To Be Found című kiadatlan dalt, illetve néhány Jeffrey Lee Pierce-, Shane MacGowan- és Édith Piaf-szerzemény feldolgozását hallhattuk újdonságként (továbbá kiderült, hogy kedvenc zenésztársával, Warren Ellisszel közösen ő komponálta az áprilisban érkező Back To Black című Amy Winehouse-mozifilm aláfestő zenéjét), de most végre az öt év után elkészült új Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds-albumról is hallhatunk egy számot.

A Bad Seeds legutóbbi stúdióalbuma, a lebegős-atmoszférikus Ghosteen 2019-ben jelent meg, de azon Cave és a multiinstrumentalista Warren Ellis mellett a többi zenekari tag (Thomas Wydler dobos, Martyn Casey basszista, Jim Sclavunos ütőhangszeres és George Vjestica gitáros) nagyon kevés szerepet kapott, aztán 2021-ben Cave és Ellis egy Carnage című duólemezzel jelentkeztek. Az új Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds-albumot, a Wild Godot augusztus 30-ra jelentették be az itt hallható címadó dallal, melynek monumentális himnikus hangszerelésű felvételén a lemezt producerként is jegyző Cave/Ellis szerzőpáros mellett Wydler és Sclavunos szerepel a zenekari tagságból. Az album néhány számában Cave legutóbbi zongorás turnéjának kísérőzenészét, a Radiohead-basszista Colin Greenwoodot is hallhatjuk majd vendégként, a teljes anyag végső keverésében pedig a Flaming Lips-producer Dave Fridmann segédkezett.
