Peter Gabriel brit dalszerző-producer-énekes a 2002-es legutóbbi Up sorlemeze óta – különféle átdolgozások mellett – ritkán tett közzé új szerzeményeket (Down To Earth, Why Don’t You Show Yourself, I'm Amazing, The Veil), de csaknem két évtizede ígért új i/o albumával 2023-ban végre célegyenesbe ért: az azonos című turné első dátumainak bejelentése és beharangozó videója után most már itt az első hivatalos kislemezdal is.
„Az első szám egy olyan ötleten alapul, amin dolgoztam, egy végtelenül bővíthető, hozzáférhető adatgömb, a Panopticom megalkotásán. Elkezdjük összekapcsolni az emberek egy hasonló gondolkodású csoportját, akik képesek lehetnek ezt életre kelteni, hogy a világ jobban láthassa önmagát, és jobban megértse, mi is történik valójában” – mondja a 72 éves művész, aki mellett a dalban jól ismert régi zenésztársak játszanak: szintetizátoron Brian Eno, gitáron David Rhodes, basszuson Tony Levin, dobokon pedig Manu Katché.
