Eminem a 2000-es The Marshall Mathers LP 2013-as folytatásáról, a novemberben megjelent The Marshall Mathers LP 2 albumról az eddigi három kislemez- és klipdal (Berzerk, Survival, Rap God) után most közzéteszi a negyedik videóját is: a Rihanna közreműködésével készült The Monster kisfilmjében (melyet a Rap God rendezője, Rich Lee jegyez) az énekesnő pszichiáterként tűnik fel a rapper mellett, aki újraéli régi videóit, a lelke mélyén lakozó címbéli szörnyeteg pedig fizikai formában is manifesztálódik. Ez a két előadó negyedik közös száma a Skylar Grey-jel írt nagy sikerű 2010-es Love The Way You Lie duett, továbbá annak Part II alcímű folytatása/párdarabja és a 2012-es Numb után, de végre megint egy jól sikerült kollaborációról van szó (e pillanatban megérdemelten vezeti is a nagy amerikai Billboard Hot 100 slágerlistát).
